1) What author do you own the most books by? stephen king. followed by terry pratchett.

2) What book do you own the most copies of? still life with woodpecker by tom robbins.

3) Did it bother you that both those questions ended with prepositions? not particularly.

4) What fictional character are you secretly in love with? cayetano delaura. the priest from of love and other demons by gabriel garcia marquez. samuel vimes from the night watch books by terry pratchett. roland deschain from the gunslinger novels by stephen king. and most recently,
fiyero, from wicked by gregory maguire.

5) What book have you read the most times in your adult life? probably watership down by richard adams.

6) What was your favorite book when you were ten years old? it was one of the redwall books by brian jacques. i think salamandastron or mossflower.

7) What is the worst book you've read in the past year? i'm sure i've already forgotten it.

8) What is the best book you've read in the past year? his dark materials made me cry like a bitch. and life of pi was pretty good.

9) If you could force everyone to read one book, what would it be? of love and other demons.

10) Who deserves to win the next Nobel Prize for Literature? couldn't tell you.

11) What book would you most like to see made into a movie? the subtle knife, damnit.

12) What book would you least like to see made into a movie? i'm really nervous about the gunslinger movies. i hope j.j. abrams does them justice.

13) Describe your weirdest dream involving a writer, book, or literary character. i can't recall any. i wish it was bartleby, however.

14) What is the most lowbrow book you've read as an adult? tom robbins has his moments, fer sure.

15) What is the most difficult book you've ever read? i started to delve into dune, but it held no charms for me.

16) What is the most obscure Shakespeare play you've seen? not a big shakespeare fan.

17) Do you prefer the French or the Russians? i'm for the french. madame bovary remains one of my favorite books.

18) Roth or Updike? UPDIKE, r.i.p.

19) David Sedaris or Dave Eggers? sedaris makes fun of himself more. plus, he's hilarious.

20) Shakespeare, Milton, or Chaucer? ehhhh....no preference.

21) Austen or Eliot? Eliot. neither.

22) What is the biggest or most embarrassing gap in your reading? stephen king books and dean koontz books?

23) What is your favorite novel? dark tower IV, watership down, of love and other demons, bag of bones....i have lots of favorites.

24) Play? eh.

25) Poem? i like pretty much everything by e.e. cummings that i've ever read.

26) Essay? eh.

27) Short story? pretty much any short story in the girl in the flammable skirt.

28) Nonfiction? bleh.

29) Who is your favorite writer? i have too many to pick one.

30) Who is the most overrated writer alive today? john grisham?

31) What is your desert island book? unsure. something gigantic.
